We want you to love your purchase. If something isn't quite right, we're here to help.
Returns
We accept returns on full-priced items within 14 days of delivery for a store credit, provided the item:
- Is unworn, unwashed and unused
- Has all original tags attached
- Is free from makeup, fake tan, perfume, deodorant and pet hair
- Is returned in its original condition
Items that do not meet these requirements may be refused and returned to the sender.
Exchanges
Need a different size? Contact us as soon as possible and we'll do our best to assist, subject to stock availability.
Sale Items
All sale, clearance and promotional items are final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged unless deemed faulty under Australian Consumer Law.
Faulty Items
We take quality seriously. If you believe your item is faulty, please contact us within 48 hours of receiving your order with photos and a description of the issue. We will assess the garment and provide a suitable remedy in accordance with Australian Consumer Law.
Return Shipping
Customers are responsible for return postage costs unless the item is faulty or an incorrect item has been sent.
We recommend using a tracked postal service, as The Dress Shop cannot accept responsibility for parcels lost in transit.
Refunds
We do not offer refunds for change of mind, incorrect sizing, delayed deliveries caused by third-party carriers, or failure to read product descriptions and size guides.
How to Lodge a Return
To begin a return, please contact our team with your order number and reason for return. Return instructions will then be provided.

This policy operates in addition to your rights under Australian Consumer Law and does not exclude or limit those rights.
